Janet Marsico would like to welcome you to The Figure Workshop. Being a figure competitor and stage coach for several years, it gives her great pleasure to be able to share with you her passion and enthusiasm for competitive fitness, figure and bodybuilding. With her experience in the fitness arena ranging from many years as a pro competitor with the WNBF and fitness model, to Official INBF/WNBF Stage Coach, allows her to pass on to all of you many aspects of the competitive sport that you might not find elsewhere, and it is her pleasure to do so.

On the pages that follow you will find 16 years of knowledge and insight regarding competitive life and contest preparation. You will be able to obtain many great tips with regard to competition preparation, stage presence, the art of “working the stage”, diet consulting and much, much more. You will learn the art of posing, turning, walking, and all other aspects of what is involved with stage presence.

Janet's job as a figure competition coach is to also help you find the contacts needed to help you excel in this sport. Not only will Janet put you in touch with who to order your shoes, suits and other valuable necessities with regard to competing, she will help you choose the organization which best suits you and your needs. Janet's goal as a figure competition stage coach does not stop at the end of a Workshop. Janet has a great love and respect for this sport and is committed to passing on to you everything you need to know in order to compete with confidence and poise through her Workshops.

I just want to wish all my girls lots of luck at the upcoming INBF Beyond 2000 Nutrition Hercules International Bodybuilding, Figure & Fitness Championships "Super Pro-Qualifier"! I know how hard each one of you have worked to be your very best and I know you will all shine up there on June 30th!! It was an absolute pleasure for me to work so closely with all of you. I am so happy that I will be at this particular competition to watch each and every one of you work that stage!! Just remember, to me, you are all winners in my book no matter where you place!! I have a favorite saying someone once told me, please take it with you on the day of your competition.....

"All you can do is give 100%, there is always someone better conditioned than you, if they show up the day of your show, more power to them, if they don't more power to you!!!" Remember that, and I promise, no matter where you place, you will leave that stage feeling a winner!!! I am so proud of all of you!!!! Janet

Janet does it again!!!! For the third year in a row, Janet places 2nd at the WNBF Pro World Figure Championships on November 10, 2007

Janet Places 2nd for the second year in a row!
For the 2nd year in a row, on November 11, 2006, Janet places 2nd at the 2006 WNBF Pro World Figure Championships!!! Then as a special surprise, WNBF Chairman, Steve Downs and WNBF Vice Chairman, Charlie Carollo presented Janet with the 2006 Gatorz VIC BOFF Memorial Spirit of Bodybuilding Award for Supporting the Natural Movement in The WNBF/INBF. An extremely memorable evening for Janet to say the least!!

We did it again!
The Figure Workshop, Inc. had a double whammy!!!! Two first place wins, PLUS a new WNBF Figure Pro!!!!! Clients Tara Martin placed first in the short division and overall and Lisa Hendrick placed first in the tall division at the INBF Natural New York State Championships on October 28, 2006!!!!!!

Congratulations to both of you and a big congratulations to our new WNBF Pro Figure Champion Tara J. Martin!!!! Way to go Tara!!!!" (and thank you for the flowers, Tara. You are too thoughtful! xoxoxo)

FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE WNBF HISTORY THEY HAD A PRO FIGURE "MASTERS" CLASS WHICH WAS HELD AT THE NORTHEAST CLASSIC IN MAY, 2006, JANET TOOK HOME THE 1ST PLACE TROPHY!!! and placed 2nd in the tall division in the WNBF Ms Exercise World Pro Figure Championships in Nov 2005
